Throughout the United States established churches are closing their doors, reducing their staff, and merging with other congregations. Many congregants are coping with unemployment, shrinking incomes and increased expenses, resulting in a diminished ability to support their church communities. Concurrently, there has been a crippling increase in the expenses associated with the maintenance of church property and the support of clergy and staff. As a consequence, all Christians confront an urgent need and obligation to lend a helping hand to their churches and neighbors.
In light of this reality, what can we do? For the long term we need to eliminate non-essential expenses and focus on reinvigorating our churches and congregations; however, in the short term, most churches must increase income in order to solve immediate problems and clear the way for the hard work ahead.
Gallery Byzantium is a Christian owned and operated company, and we would like to join hands with you in a cooperative effort to increase giving in these difficult economic times. Toward this goal Gallery Byzantium is offering its knowledge, expertise and resources to help your parish or church organization initiate a parish wide "Precious Metals Fundraiser" which is defined by its simplicity and enormous potential to produce significant income.
Every home contains hidden treasures that are no longer used or valued which may be of considerable benefit to your church. Therefore, we urge you to engage your parishioners in an exciting treasure hunt in support of their parish church.
As dedicated Christians we understand that parish giving is an act of devotion that reaps material benefits for our churches and spiritual rewards that enrich our lives. At a critical time in the establishment of Israel God said to Moses: "Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering. From every man that gives willingly with his heart…you shall receive my offerings. 3 And this is the offering which you shall receive of them; gold and silver… And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them." Exodus 25: 1-9
With a minimum of effort and Gallery Byzantium's guidance and support, the hidden treasures stored in the homes of your parishioners can be collected by your parish in an organized manner and redeemed as an offering in support of your parish church. It is fast, easy and a secure way to raise crucial funds quickly.
