It is associated with the Greek St. Photina. The design of the cross is based on a late 17th or early 18th century Old Believer original. The abbreviated inscriptions read at the top, "King of Glory", on the crossbar, "Jesus Christ Son of God", and "(the) conquers" at the foot.
