Actual Size (not shown): 2 5/8" x 2 15/16" Sterling Silver with Heavy Gold Plate and Enamel set with Garnet. St. Cuthbert, bishop of Lindisfarne, England (A.D. 634-687) was dedicated to prayer and missionary work. At the end of his life he retired to a hermitage on Farne Island. After his repose, his relics were taken to Lindisfarne and in A.D. 995 they were placed behind the high altar at Durham Cathedral.
